Growing up, Sundays were special. Me and my sisters would crawl out of bed and wander to the living room where CBS Sunday Morning was playing on the tv. Charles Osgood, the sunshiney trumpet, and the croaking of the coffee pot were the backing track to the main event. Because as 3 girls patted down the hallway and rounded the corner my dad was always standing there, and making Sunday Waffles. I remember hopping onto the counter to help stir, beat the egg whites till our little arms couldn’t turn the beater any more and fold the whites in. (Fold! Don’t stir!) We would wait for the click of the waffle maker, pull them out, sit at the table my dad had made, and cover them in chocolate syrup. Now that I’m grown up I find myself missing the calm of those mornings.

Sunday Waffles is a brand that makes products with a little bit of that in them. Products that even though not everyday can have the FULL ease of Sunday…they can maybe have a little.
